This horrific incident took place on Saturday night in Faridpur police station area of ​​Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. It is learnt that 3 youths left Farukabad in Dataganj towards Faridpur to attend a relative’s wedding. They did not know the exact address. That is why the car was driving on the route shown on Google Maps. After some time, their car reached the under-construction bridge over Ramganga. There was no update on Google Maps that there was no more road ahead. As a result, the car fell 50 feet below the under-construction flyover and fell on a sandbank. 3 people died on the spot. Locals saw the car lying on the ground on Sunday morning. The information was reported to Faridpur police station. After that, the police reached the spot, rescued the dead and sent them to a local hospital for autopsy. According to police sources, the deceased are Amit Kumar and his brother Vivek Kumar and friend Kaushal. The entire family is naturally saddened by this horrific incident during a wedding. Speaking about the incident, the uncle of the deceased, Rajesh, said that Amit and Vivek’s family lives in Gurgaon. The two brothers run a security agency there. The wedding ceremony was on Sunday. They were coming to Faridpur on Saturday to attend the ceremony. However, the exact route was not known. So they took the help of Google Maps. He further said that the two brothers also spoke to their family on the phone around 6 pm. Amit said that it would take them another 15 minutes to reach their destination. After that, they could not be contacted anymore. Finally, after a few hours, news of their accident came. Police said that the incident is under investigation.
