Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also reached the northeastern state. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has also joined the 59th All India DGP-IGP Conference. It is learnt that the Prime Minister and the Home Minister will be on a three-day visit to Odisha from today. Prime Minister Modi landed at Odisha’s Biju Patnaik International Airport at 4:30 pm today. After that, he first addressed a public meeting in Bhubaneswar. After the public meeting, he held a road show in Bhubaneswar itself. The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet the BJP leadership at Raj Bhavan today. The Prime Minister made a strong attack on the opposition in the public meeting. The opposition is continuously campaigning against the BJP-led central government, he alleged. Addressing the workers and leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he said, “The opposition’s goal is to mislead the people and seize power by any means. Those who think that power is their birthright have not been able to form a government at the Centre for the last decade.” Regarding the results of the Odisha elections, Prime Minister Modi said, “The results of the Odisha elections have surprised many political experts. Those who had dismissed the idea of ​​a Bharatiya Janata Party government in Odisha. The huge success of the BJP in the Odisha, Haryana and Maharashtra elections is a testament to the strength of the party workers.” Before his visit to Odisha today, the Prime Minister wrote on his X handle, “High-ranking police officers from all over India will attend this DGP/IGP conference. Emphasis will be placed on expanding India’s internal security system in this conference. Various aspects related to the law and order situation and improving public safety will also be discussed.” He also said that he is scheduled to speak at an event organized by the Odisha BJP. In view of the traffic situation, schools have declared a holiday at 1 pm on Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the DGP-IGP conference on Saturday and Sunday. According to a government statement, the conference will be held from November 29 to December 1. Various security-related issues such as border terrorism, Maoist problems, coastal security and new criminal laws will be discussed. This platform will allow high-ranking police officers and administrative officers involved in security work to exchange their views on issues related to national security. This DGP-IGP conference has been held every year since 2014 at the instigation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
