Earlier, on Thursday night, the Basudeb Dutta Mukunda Dutta Dham ISKCON temple in Patiya upazila of Chittagong was attacked. However, the police could not arrest any attackers in any case. According to the report, a procession of hardliners was going towards Patharghata in Nagar Chittagong city at 2 pm local time on Friday. Tension spread as soon as the procession reached the main gate of the Shantanveshwari Matri Mandir. Some miscreants in the procession started throwing stones at the temple. As a result, the glass in front of the Shani temple on the ground floor of the temple broke. Then the police and the army arrived at the scene. The situation was brought under control. Later, more police and army personnel were deployed there. Although this incident happened in front of the police, no miscreants were arrested in this incident. Meanwhile, it is known that the Basudeb Dutta Mukunda Dutta Dham ISKCON temple in Chanhara area of ​​Patiya upazila was vandalized on Thursday night. According to a report by Prothom Alo, regarding the incident, the police said that the CCTV camera line was cut at the time of the incident. Therefore, the attackers could not be identified. Meanwhile, the report further claims that on Friday afternoon, an attack was also carried out on the Sri Sri Hare Krishna Namahatta Sangha run by ISKCON in Bhairab, Kishoreganj. Allegedly, the temple was attacked with sticks yesterday. Furniture and pictures were broken. In addition, an attack was also carried out on the Jagatbandhu Ashram temple located in Patharghata, Chittagong yesterday.
