Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met today with a delegation from the “United for Ukraine” international parliamentary network. During the meeting, Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the group’s “consistent political support,” emphasizing its importance both during the current conflict and in the future.
“We all want a just and lasting peace,” the President stated.
The discussions covered several key topics, including Ukraine’s future, the framework for security guarantees, and the outcomes of recent meetings in Washington. A significant part of the conversation was dedicated to the use of frozen Russian assets for the reconstruction and recovery of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy also highlighted the value of a unified European stance, thanking the parliamentarians for their support and “shared vision that Ukraine must be part of the European Union.” The meeting underscored the ongoing diplomatic efforts to secure international backing for Ukraine’s defense, recovery, and European integration.
