President Donald Trump recently provided meals for law enforcement officers who were securing the U.S. capital, personally serving them a selection of food.
In a brief address, Trump noted the origin of the food, stating, “We have great hamburgers cooked by the White House & we have pizza that I said, ‘don’t do it in the White House,’ because we went to the place that has the best pizza.”
The gesture was a show of support for the law enforcement personnel stationed in the city. The president’s decision to source pizza from an external location, rather than the White House kitchen, was a detail he highlighted to the officers, emphasizing a preference for quality.
