A Russian missile strike has targeted a factory owned by the American company Flex, a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in Mukachevo, Ukraine. The attack, which took place during the night shift, put the lives of 600 employees at risk.
While there were no casualties reported, thanks to the swift implementation of safety protocols, the incident is being widely condemned. The attack is being described as a direct assault not only on Ukraine but on American business interests abroad. The factory, which produces household electronics, was a key symbol of foreign investment in the region.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has not yet released a statement, but the attack is expected to escalate tensions between Moscow and Washington. The attack on a civilian target, which has no military connection, has been described as a deliberate act of aggression.
