Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) announced on Friday that it will develop a sprawling and lush “Coastal Road Gardens” on 130 acres of land along the Mumbai Coastal Road. The announcement was made by Nita Ambani, founder and chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, during the company’s 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The project, described as a “green and attractive” urban space, will feature a variety of modern amenities, including walkways, cycle tracks, and plazas. In addition to these facilities, the garden will be home to a large number of trees and flowers, aiming to create a significant green lung for the city.
This initiative is part of RIL’s broader commitment to urban development and creating public spaces for citizens. The gardens are expected to transform the coastal area into a major recreational and leisure destination.
