President Murmus appeal for speech and hearing impaired

Bangobarta Bureau, NEW DELHI

President Droupadi Murmu today stated that, like other health issues, speech and hearing impairments require early identification of symptoms and diagnosis by specialists.

Addressing a gathering, the President highlighted the crucial role of experts in providing timely and accurate diagnosis. She also emphasized the importance of societal awareness and called for a more cooperative and sympathetic attitude from the public towards those affected by these conditions.

The President’s remarks focused on the dual responsibility of healthcare professionals and society at large. She stressed that while medical expertise is essential for early intervention, social support and empathy are equally vital to ensure that people with speech and hearing problems can lead dignified and inclusive lives. Her statement underscored the need to build a more aware and compassionate society.
