PM Inaugurates ₹13,000 Crore Development Projects in Gaya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gaya today for a major rally where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth approximately ₹13,000 crores. The projects span key sectors including power, road, health, urban development, and water supply, marking a significant push for infrastructure and growth in the state ahead of the upcoming elections.

A major highlight of the visit was the inauguration of the Aunta-Simaria bridge project on the River Ganga. The 8.15 km-long project, which includes a 1.86 km six-lane bridge, will significantly enhance connectivity between North and South Bihar, providing a direct link between Mokama in Patna and Begusarai. The new bridge will reduce travel distance for heavy vehicles by over 100 km, easing traffic and boosting regional economic activity.
