Addressing a gathering in Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the city’s extraordinary transformation from a neglected urban center into a vibrant, world-class destination. He highlighted key projects that have revitalized the city, making it a hub for tourism, events, and modern living.
The Prime Minister recalled a time when Ahmedabad was known for its dusty streets and forgotten rivers. He contrasted that with the city’s current state, pointing to the development of the Sabarmati Riverfront, the rejuvenation of Kankaria Lake, and the creation of Kids City. These projects, he said, have not only cleaned up the city but have also made it a major attraction.
