Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emplaned for Delhi after successfully concluding his visit to Japan and China. The multi-day tour was marked by significant diplomatic and economic engagements.
In Japan, the Prime Minister participated in the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit with his Japanese counterpart, Shigeru Ishiba. The two leaders reviewed their “Special Strategic and Global Partnership,” with discussions focusing on defense, trade, technology, and people-to-people exchanges. The visit saw the signing of several agreements and an announcement of a substantial Japanese investment target in India.
The second leg of his visit took the Prime Minister to China, where he attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit. During the summit, he held key bilateral meetings, including a significant interaction with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. On social media, the Prime Minister described the visit as “productive,” highlighting that he had emphasized India’s stance on key global issues and interacted with various world leaders.
