Bangbarta Bureau: Mumbai Police has revealed that the person who attacked Saif Ali Khan was actually a Bangladeshi. The arrested person’s name is Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad. He was misleading the police by changing his name repeatedly. Police suspect that he entered India about five months ago. The accused could not show any valid identity card of Indian citizenship. Initial investigation by the police has revealed that he entered the Bollywood star’s house with the intention of stealing. Police said that during interrogation, the accused confessed to attacking Saif with a knife.

Police had formed 30 teams to catch the accused. Police scanned the CCTV footage of the building in Bandra where Saif Ali Khan, his wife and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and their son live. Police saw the attacker leaving the building after the attack. . After this, the police searched the footage for hours across the city to find the suspect. They found footage of a CCTV camera in DN Nagar, Andheri. They saw the suspect getting off the bike and traced the two-wheeler using its number. The Bandra police gave various details about the arrest in a press conference on Sunday morning.

“The arrested person’s name is Mohammed Shariful Islam Shahzad,” said Mumbai Police Deputy Commissioner Gedam Dixit on the day. Investigation revealed that he had entered India from Bangladesh. He does not have an Indian identity card. We suspect that he is a Bangladeshi citizen. A case is being registered against him under the Passport Act.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan is admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The actor’s condition is improving rapidly and doctors say that he may be discharged in 2 to 3 days. He is currently able to walk.
