MONKS OF RAMAKRISHNA MATH AND MISSION ENJOYS METRO RIDE

Monks of Mayer Bari and Udbodhon Magazine HQs led by Secretary Maharaj of Sri Sarada Mayer Bari, Bagbazar , Swami Nityamuktanandaji visited the Green Line of Metro Railway, Kolkata yesterday. They started their visit from New Esplanade Metro station where they were shown the model of the East West Metro Corridor by senior officers of Metro Railway.

They then travelled in a Metro from Esplanade to Howrah Maidan and from there to Salt Lake Sector V stations of Green Line under the river Hooghly. On their way back, they deboarded at Central Park Metro station. They also visited the Operations Control Centre and the Central Park Depot. A memento of the Model of the Green Line Metro coach as a token of love and respect was gifted to Maharaj ji to mark the permanent bond that Kolkata Metro has established with Ramakrishna Mission and its movement.

They were extremely happy and visibly overjoyed to travel under the river Hooghly for the first time. Monk expressed his deep sense of satisfaction after the journey on Green Line and thanked for the arrangements that the Team Metro Railway Kolkata made to organise their tour.

Monks blessed Metro Railway and appreciated the services rendered by Kolkata Metro to the people of West Bengal in general and to the people of Kolkata and adjoining areas in particular.
