Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced a major initiative to empower farmers by providing them with solar pumps. Highlighting the critical role of electricity in modern life, the Chief Minister stated that continuous efforts are being made to make farmers self-reliant in the energy sector.
“Electricity is the biggest need of today,” CM Yadav said. “In the coming days, 3.2 million farmers will be provided with solar pumps to make them self-sufficient in the field of electricity.”
The Chief Minister also revealed that a significant subsidy has been given to household consumers. “In the year 2024-25, a subsidy of approximately ₹6,000 crore has been provided to 10 million domestic consumers,” he said, underscoring the government’s commitment to supporting both the agricultural and domestic sectors.
