Mamta makes jungle raj by rohinga vote bank, Gaurav alleged

Bangobarta Bureau, New Delhi

In a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia has accused her of running a “jungle raj” and displaying an “unconstitutional” and “indecent” attitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking to reporters, Bhatia claimed that the people of West Bengal are saying, “What a ‘jungle raj’ is like, it’s like Mamata ‘anarchist’ Banerjee.” He further alleged that Banerjee’s affection for Rohingya refugees stems from their potential as a future vote bank.

“She loves Rohingyas, but attacks an honest Prime Minister,” Bhatia said. “They feel the Rohingyas are their own because they are their future vote bank. But when a person honestly serves the people of India and the people bless them, Mamata Banerjee cannot stand it.”

Bhatia’s comments mark a significant escalation in the rhetoric between the two parties, with the BJP continuing to target the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government over issues of governance and illegal immigration. He concluded by calling Banerjee’s recent remarks against the Prime Minister “worrying, unseemly, and undignified.”
