Indian Army Launches Flood Relief and Rescue Operations in Punjab

The Indian Army has launched extensive relief and rescue operations in flood-affected areas of Punjab to assist villagers trapped by rising waters. Troops from the Rising Star Corps have been deployed to the most critical zones to evacuate residents.

According to a statement, the army units successfully rescued villagers from multiple locations, including Amali-Nud (Samba), Kachle-Sujanpur (Pathankot), and Makora Pattan and Adalatgarh (Gurdaspur). The operations are part of a coordinated effort to provide immediate relief and ensure the safety of the affected population.

The army teams are working in challenging conditions to reach stranded individuals and provide essential supplies, playing a crucial role in the state’s disaster response.
