Veteran director Subhash Ghai admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital

Director Subhash Ghai admitted to hospital in Mumbai. It is learnt that the 79-year-old director was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after he complained of weakness, shortness of breath and dizziness. The director is under observation in the hospital. He is under the supervision of a team of specialist doctors, including cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale, neurologist Dr. Vijay Chowdhury and pulmonologist Dr. Jalil Parker. The report further claims that a source from the hospital gave an update on the director’s health and said that ‘there are signs of improvement’! Due to which he will soon be shifted from the ICU to the general ward. Meanwhile, the hospital has said in a statement that Subhash Ghai has already undergone a CT angiogram of his brain, chest and abdomen. It is also learnt that on Monday, i.e. December 9, he will undergo a health test called PET-CT scan. Only then can we know what exactly happened to Subhash. Director Subhash Ghai is suffering from Ischemic Heart Disease, it is learnt. Apart from this, he was also recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the filmmaker said that Subhash is in the hospital for a routine checkup. He is healthy, stable. People are also thankful for the director’s health, which is why people are concerned about him. Subhash Ghai has made films like ‘Kalicharaan’, ‘Karj’, ‘Hero’, ‘Bidhata’, ‘Meri Jung’, ‘Karma’, ‘Ram Laxman’, ‘Taal’, ‘Saudagar’.
