In a tragic incident driven by superstition, a seven-year-old boy suffering from blood cancer drowned after his aunt forced him to submerge himself in the Ganga river for nearly five minutes, hoping for a miraculous cure.
The boy, who was battling blood cancer, was reportedly taken to the river by his aunt, who believed the sacred waters could heal him. The child was made to take multiple dips, leading to his death.
