Bangobarta Bureau, NEW DELHI
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today inspected the ongoing renovation work at New Delhi Railway Station, which includes the creation of an access control system and a permanent holding area.
After a site visit, Vaishnaw expressed satisfaction with the progress, stating, “I have come to see the work that started a few months ago to create access control and a permanent holding area at New Delhi Station. The progress is very good. This entire area where you are standing will become a permanent holding area.”
The project is part of a larger plan to modernize and upgrade the station to handle increasing passenger traffic and improve the overall travel experience. The new holding area is expected to enhance passenger flow and provide a more organized waiting space for commuters.
